Balance

If you don't see an amount on the balance tile but an (enlarged) note, create a ticket via servidesk.odisee.be and choose 'Student portal'.

What can you do if your class schedule is not shown?

You do not have to give permission to KU Leuven. All you have to do is reload your browser.

You can do this by clicking on the round arrow in the browser or by using F5 on your keyboard at the top.

It is possible that your session at KU Leuven has ended.

If you do not receive an agenda after trying the first step we suggest to click on the KU Leuven notification.

You must then renew your persmission to collect your course schedule data.

Change language

You can change the language by clicking on the icon at the top right.

Then choose 'Preferences' and set the correct language.

Delete cookies

→ Chrome, Firefox, internet explorer: CTRL + Shift + Delete ; then you CLOSE all windows of your browser

→ Safari: CTRL + Applekey + Delete ; then you CLOSE all windows of your browser

Error message

If you want to sign up and you receive an error message 'Http-error-500', report this via a ticket to ICT Service Desk.

Add a screenshot and also mention the browser you used.

Hidden tiles

You can place ties yourself on several dashboards.

Go to 'Personalise' and the 'Hidden tiles'.

Click on the tile you want to add and then place it in the place you want.

For example on DB Home you wil find the menu of the other campuses.

At DB ICT you will find tiles from specific o365 applications.

Notifications

Notifications or quick messages are shown in the student portal at the bell.

They are messages that are urgent and have immediate impact.

They can also be pushed on your smartphone.

To make this possible, the portal must be open and this function must also be switched on.

For this purpose the automatic registration time has also been increased to 6 hours.

Notifications can be opened by clicking the 'Show more-Show less' button.

Personalize

You can place hidden tiles yourself on multiple dashboards.

Go to 'Personalize' and the 'Hidden tiles'.

Click on the tile that you want to add and the place it on the place that you want.

For example on DB Home you will find the menu tiles of the other campuses.

On DB ICT you will find tiles from specific o365 applications.

Refresh

It happens that a dashboard is not always fully visible.

Sometimes the navigation does not appear in the left column. 

Sometimes the dashboard remains if you want to switch to another dashboard.

Click the F5 key once or more times or use the browser button to reload the page.

In Chrome you will find that button to the left of the URL, in Firefox right of it.

Reload page

It happens that a dashboard is not always visible immediately.

Sometimes the dashboard stays when you want to switch to another dashboard.

Click the F5 button one or more times or use the browser button to reload the page.

You will find that button in the browser to the left of the URL.

Sign up

If you work on your own device, choose the option 'This is a private computer' when logging in on the registration screen.

Your registration will remain valid for 8 hours and you will nog longer have to log in if you are navigating to other Odisee portals.

If you choose the option 'This is a public or shared computer' then the registration time is limited to 1 hour.

The registration time for student.odisee.be is set to 6 hours.

If your registration is about to expire, you will be notified if you want to remain logged in.
